World Ranked Golfer with a Disability

Founder of Adaptive Golfers, Preeminent Speaker/Presenter, Seasoned Media Personality, and Globally known as the World Ranked "One-Handed Lady Golfer".

As a LPGA Approved Ed. Provider, no obstacle is too daunting to tackle for Gianna Rojas. Having been born without fingers on her left hand, growing up was very challenging. She was always last picked for the team, not asked to the dance, left out, even picked on and made fun of. Her father was in the Navy and they moved often as all military familes do. This makes things even harder as she was always the new kid and visibility different.

Fast forward to today, Gianna is now known as a World Ranked "One-Handed Lady Golfer" and preeminent in the field of Adaptive Golf. She was recently labeled by the LPGA as one of the Top Women "DISRUPTORS"revolutionizing the Golf Industry.

Gianna strives to bring attention to Adaptive Golf though her programs, clinics, training sessions, and by sharing the success stories of the individuals who are overcoming barriers and obstacles.

Refusing to accept the word disabled, Gianna explains "We are all able, just differently ABLED." Despite her challenges she inspires and motivates others to "get out of bed and out of their head" and by sharing her own story inspires others who may question their abilities. Her message is don't ask "Can I" ask "HOW can I?".

My mission, as a teaching Golf Professional, has been to help people enjoy the game of golf. Prior to Gianna's Adaptive Golfers Training, I hadn't given much thought about the untapped gold market of people with disabilities. What a great way to bring joy to many people that may never have even considered they could play golf. Golf can become a very important part of a person's life, especially someone with different abilities. In the training course, I learned so much valuable information. For example, we trained with hitting while wearing a prosthetic leg. The course is full of information to increase a teacher's knowledge of how to help this special population. I was introduced to the many products that are available to help with an unconventional way of playing golf. When I heard about the course, I was concerned about the cost and how much of my time it was going to take up. It was well worth it! In addition to more knowledge on how to teach golf to people with different abilities, I now also have resources for anything I might need to help someone with different abilities learn to enjoy playing golf. Thank you for the course Gianna!

You sound like you are doing the work of God through Adaptive Golf... Loving, encouraging and giving hope through endless possibilities in golf. This is my reason for being involved as an educator of the game, and a giver of life through reaching those that can find joy and purpose through a new level of enjoyment, and hope, by hitting a golf ball or making a putt. It truly is "priceless", and my heart is so full when I can have the opportunity to facilitate this learning.
